Position Description

To build upon a track record of growth and success, we are seeking a Fluid Processing Operator/Technician responsible for driving and operating commercial oil processing truck and equipment at customer sites.    

Responsibilities will include:

  • Operate purification equipment with emphasis on customer relations & proper equipment operation. This includes running hoses, running test equipment to verify oil samples, operating and cleaning centrifuges, and operating a dehydrator.
  • Learn how and when to utilize filter canisters to polish oil and perform that task.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on purification equipment.
  • Collect samples for analysis.
  • Maintain driver logs including service logs on equipment and pre-and post-trip vehicle checks.
  • Complete paperwork properly for both Trucent and customers.
  • Interact with operators and supervisors at customer locations. Provide customer service, support, training, and problem resolution when necessary.
  • Accurately complete internal reports on fluid conditions, samples, and other customer related issues.
  • Document equipment repairs, cleaning, preventative maintenance, calibrations, etc.
  • Perform other related duties or special projects.
  • Comply with all aspects of the Trucent safety program, including but not limited to: Hazard communication, PPE requirements and attending safety training.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics.

 Position Qualifications:

  • Possession of or ability to obtain CDL A within 60 days of hire date.
  • Good personal communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • General knowledge of the skill trades including, mechanical, plumbing and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Customer relation & problem resolution skills.
  • Effective time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic familiarity with PCs
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision.
  • Perform reading, writing and speaking at a basic level.
  • Perform the basic functions of arithmetic; add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure. Demonstrate a basic understanding of specifications, blueprints, manuals and mechanical drawings and have a general understanding of analytical methods.
  • Ability to apply rational principles to solve practical problems and deal with several concrete variables in standardized situations and to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.


Travel is required up to 20% of the time.


License(s)/Certification(s)/Training Required:

  • Machine specific training for each type of applicable purification equiment (centrifuge products lines, ultra fitration, vacuum dehydration, moble oil purification system, combo unit & distillation).
  • Valid drivers license (Chauffer or CDL license preferred) and acceptable driving record per company Vehicle Policy.
  • Fork Lift Certification.
