Position Description

To build upon a track record of growth and success, we are seeking a Sales Manager out of Milwaukee, WI.     

Responsibilities will include:

  • Directly sell our services and equipment to new and existing customers.
  • Perform customer needs analysis and develop solutions to meet the needs.
  • Make technical visits on behalf of Company at various customers, potential customers, and other organizations.
  • Communicate with and facilitate communications between Trucent and customer across multiple levels of both organizations.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure maximum customer retention.
  • Identify customers, make contact, educate customer on the benefits of our products and services (presentation), overcome objections, relate to customer's needs, show how our product meets those needs, apply proper technology to the application, relate data to customer's needs, generate proposal, present proposal, close the deal.
  • Develop business by closing new accounts and maintaining and growing existing ones.
  • Contribute to the development of an annual sales plan and sales strategy with supervisor for new and existing market penetration to ensure sales and profitability goals are achieved.
  • Track all leads, customers, prospects, etc. using CRM software to ensure maximum market penetration and follow-up.
  • Communicate & coordinate efforts with Lab, Engineering Services, Operations and Administration.
  • Perform other related duties or special projects.
  • Comply with all aspects of the SRS safety program, including but not limited to: hazard communication, PPE requirements and attending quarterly safety training.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics.

Marginal Functions:

  • Attend trade shows as applicable.
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area.
  • Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

 

Physical/Visual Activities or Demands: Physical/visual activities or demands that are commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.

  • Sitting, standing, walking, talking and hearing.
  • Flow of work and character of duties involve normal mental and visual attention much or all of the time.
  • Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less with the ability to judge distance and space relationships, bring object into sharp focus and see up and down or to the right or left while fixed on a point.
  • Generally exert negligible physical effort; occasional lifting/moving of light objects (5 to 25 lbs.).

 

Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions: Environmental and atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.

Inside conditions both in an office and on the production floor with some exposure to noise, fumes, odor, dust and extreme temperatures. 

 

Position Qualification Requirements

Education:

Requires a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business or a related field or equivalent capabilities.

 

Experience:

Requires a minimum of 5 year's experience in equipment or process system sales into the general and/or metalworking industry, preferably with experience in mechanical separation technologies, in order to gain sufficient skill to perform the requirements of the position.

  • Perform reading, writing and speaking at an intermediate level.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer & software skills.

 

Travel Requirements:

Extensive travel on company business.
