To build upon a track record of growth and success, we are seeking a Site Technician out of Saginaw, MI.     

Responsibilities will include:

  • 3rd shift (Approximately 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
  • New account setup of traditional services.
  • Operate multiple types of purification equipment with emphasis on customer relations & proper equipment operation.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on purification equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and operational assistance of multiple types of fluid purification equipment and provide feedback on equipment design.
  • Maintain service logs on equipment.
  • Internal reporting on fluid conditions, samples and other customer related issues.
  • Customer service, support, training and problem resolution.
  • Document equipment repairs, cleaning, preventative maintenance, calibrations, etc. and complete all required paperwork.
  • Collect samples for analysis.
  • Communicate with customer on fluids & samples.
  • Perform other related duties or special projects.
  • Comply with all aspects of the Trucent safety program, including but not limited to: hazard communication, PPE requirements and attending quarterly safety training.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics.


Position Qualifications:

Education: Requires a high school education or equivalent plus additional specialize training in industrial maintenance & machine operation.

Experience: Requires a minimum of 1 year industrial maintenance & machine operation experience in order to gain sufficient skill to perform the requirements of the position.

Skills and Abilities, which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly, associated with this position:

  • Good personal communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • General knowledge of the skill trades including, mechanical, plumbing and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Customer relation & problem resolution skills.
  • Effective time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic familiarity with PCs.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Perform reading, writing and speaking at an intermediate level.
  • Perform the basic functions of arithmetic; add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure. Demonstrate a basic understanding of specifications, blueprints, manuals and mechanical drawings and have a general understanding of analytical methods.
  • Ability to apply rational principles to solve practical problems and deal with several concrete variables in standardized situations and to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Travel Requirements:

Travel is required up to 5% of the time.

Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software and Work Aids, which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly, associated with this position:

  • Hand tools, mechanics tools, vehicles, machinery and forklifts. Computer, fax machine, phones and software.

License(s)/Certification(s)/Training Required:

  • Successful completion of a minimum of 75% of machine specific training for each type of purification equiment (centrifuge products lines, ultra filtration, vacuum dehydration, moble oil purification system, combo unit & distillation).
  • Fork Lift Certification.
